Start with the device, then the app
iPhone and iPad cannot install Android APK files. Use the publisher’s iOS edition or a compatible iOS playlist player.
Platform editions have different features; check the release for your device.
Installation and compatibility checklist
- Check the iOS version required by the App Store listing.
- Match the app developer, not just a similar name.
- Use a native iOS release rather than an Android APK.
- Test rotation, subtitles and AirPlay where supported.
Android APK instructions do not apply to this platform. Use a native application or a separately supported external device. Do not rename a package to change its operating system.
Use the right account format
ProgTV is cataloged with the following setup context: M3U. Confirm the actual format in the current app edition. Do not paste a full playlist URL into a password field or assume a portal address is an Xtream Codes server.
Record the device model, operating-system version, app version and account expiry privately. Name the local profile without exposing a username, token or password.
Test the first picture
- Use a stream you are authorized to access and start at a normal HD resolution.
- Check remote or touch navigation, subtitles and audio-track selection.
- Allow the initial guide import to finish before changing EPG offsets.
- Verify the clock and timezone when every scheduled program is shifted.
- Compare a local network baseline before attributing buffering to an account.

Keep account details private
When requesting support, share iPhone & iPad model, OS version, the exact app edition, an error message and the time of the failure. Redact account tokens and complete playlist addresses. Never publish a password-bearing screenshot.
